Hawaii is where I was born and live. Though I did not realize it at that time, now, after traveling the world....I conclude it is the perfect place for me to spend the rest of my life. The weather is comfortable most of the year. Hawaii is my base in my home called the world. I enjoy experiencing other countries which are 'rooms' in my home. If you have never been to Hawaii, it is a very special place to visit.
I created this page to make it easier for you to explore Hawaii by doing some research before you visit. For most, coming to Hawaii is a dream come true. I have been to all the major islands...Oahu (where I live), Maui, Kauai, Big Island, Molokai, Lanai, and Kaaholawe. I have experienced most of the tourist highligts, ate at most of the local restaurants, went camping, hiking, and lots of beach walking and swimming.
If you plan to come, I suggest at least 10 - 14 days to visit: Oahu, Kauai, Maui, Big Island, and perhaps...Lanai. An inexpensive way to experience 4 major islands is a 7-day around the island cruise on the Pride of America. Ethnic food is in abundance. Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, Malaysian, and Hawaiian food. Plus, local favorite dishes such as... saimin (noodles).
As I discover quality sites on Hawaii, I will add them to this page...just for YOU.
